Hey, it’s James here. Thanks for taking a look at my dice sets!

I started making custom sets for myself in 2019 during the first stages of the pandemic and got the hang of it pretty quickly. Mind you this was in a tiny apartment with my wife & dog Luna in Toronto. Since then I’ve moved across the country (Canada is huge by the way) to the beautiful city of Okotoks nestled in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. I’m fortunate enough to be able to escape into nature whenever I like; whatever I’m doing I’d probably rather be on a hike in the Kananaskis mountains or driving through the winding roads of Banff National Park.

That being said, my second favourite place is in my office-studio. I’ve never been able to escape working with my hands, and for that I think I’m super grateful. To be able to make sets that resonate with people is incredibly rewarding work. There’s so much imagination and personality that’s required to run and play a game of DnD and I always want my work to reflect that passion for adventure and discovery (there’s just as much to discover inside as there is outside, I’ve found).

Life is short, my friends. Creative expression and time spent with friends may just be the most important things in life. My goal here is to provide little tokens that people can use & wear while they’re making life long memories with the folks they love most.

There’s absolutely nothing we can’t accomplish in this life. So go ahead and roll initiative, it’s the only way you’ll find your treasure.

Every set I make is dedicated to my beautiful daughter Isabella. 

 

Pricing: 
The prices listed on my shop have to do with set quality and not necessarily defects. Premium sets are listed at a higher price because they are all made using newer molds. I strongly dislike waste so I continue to use older molds to make dice and price those sets accordingly. As with any art form I continue to improve my workflow, efficiency and quality; so older sets (usually listed under $100 CAD) are not made to the same calibre as my newer sets. I should mention every item I list I'm very proud of, will stand behind, and would let the item speak for itself in quality.
